A six days training programme on GRAM++ & DSS – Energy is being organized during 17-22nd January 2005 at IIT- Roorkee for the DST’s Project Investigators working for the coordinated sub-programme on "Bio-Geo Database and Ecological Modelling for the Himalayas". It is also planned to organize a Review Committee by the Expert Group of the sub-programme on 16th January at IIT-Roorkee. The main objective of this training courses is to create awareness about the various features, modules as developed under GRAM++ GIS software package by the IIT-Bombay faculty among the research groups working for NRDMS. An intense hands-on session on GRAM++ would be followed by another technical session on Decision Support System for Energy budgeting by the IISc, Bangalore scientists.
