EduSDSS is a tool for Educational Planning. The SDSS would help the planners to effectively plan and monitor various education related developmental schemes. This has been achieved through evaluation of the present education system at village, block and district level.
Forecasting the requirements of new schools and related resources based on the census data. Locating new schools. Allocating resources like teachers and buildings. Generating reports at the block, village & school level.
The performance is evaluated using analysis of primary education system at village & school level in terms of various recommended educational indices such as quality, quantity, availability, and accessibility (Figure1, Figure2).

Data Used:

Village boundaries, road network, Primary Education data

Highlights/Findings:
Reads .shp files for map display through Map Object.
